Hi guys, I need some help. I bought handmade cement bejmat Moroccan tiles for both bathroom and kitchen walls. They were installed the other day and grouted however the tiler forgot to impregnate them or seal them. Some of them have also chipped meaning water can get on the cement part of these chipped tiles. Can I seal and impregnate these tiles now that they are already installed? And have you any idea on how I'd prevent more chipping? And repair the ones that are chipped already? My main concern on the chipping is that water will get in and start to erode other tiles etc and who knows where they problem will stop tbh. Plus they don't look as they should too so it's not as aesthetically pleasing unfortunately. Here's a photo of one of the walls where you will see the small chips in some of them! The tiles and kitchen are classics so I would not worry about the tiles going out of fashion and again it’s a great idea to continue throughout the space. Is the kitchen painted or wood? If it’s painted, I would be tempted to go for a wood effect porcelain tile to soften the look. Whatever tile you choose, I would strongly advise that you place a few in an area you use to assess how they deal with everyday dirt and stains. I had a kitchen tile in a previous house that showed up every little stain and were a nightmare to keep. Two other consideration when it comes to tiles: 1. they are cold underfoot but suit UFH perfectly and 2. Hard surfaces creat an echo in a space so can do with other softer materials to reduce this.

We have a 3mx2.5m entrance hallway that splits left and right into a long narrow hallway Can anyone advise on tile shape or direction? It’s like a t junction .

Hi got new limestone stone tiles for utility room 15mm but hallway outside has already been laid and they're 10mm laid at 15mm height. I hate the look of them door divider/trim things is there any solution. Such a shame I got the thicker tile after the otges were laid. I'm meeting tiler next week can't ask him as he's on hols. Coukd yi shave down the ones closest to the point the tiles meet. Also re another can you get a thick underlay to rise laminate flooring to meet a 15mm tile?
