Ugly built in wardrobe ideas
Comments (14)Prior to adding any trims to the door, use a small piece of trim, attach it to the door with double stick tape on the hinge side and check to see that the door opens. It might not! Attaching trim to the door is more than just cutting the trim, no? I can give you a more detailed set of instructions if you decide to go that route...but I'm for painting the wardrobe (and all the woodwork in the room) white....See MoreHelp me finish my bedroom
Comments (36)I would also definitely go white if the windows are on the green wall. Will be much more natural to tie the accent wall with the stark wht contrasting walls. Always a very chic contemporary look. Also very relaxing as opposed to the treatments standing out when you already have your standout feature- the green accent wall. Great white bed you ordered! Then I love all the blue/green/ silver accent advice. I did a similar room in purples/greys/ whites and we used great posted prints of florals with a little oriental flair in nice big mats w frames. You could do florals or nice big botanicals in greens would be very fresh and modern!! White or silver frames or maybe even the shock of black would be cool....See MoreHelp me sort my bedroom out!
Comments (11)I would paint the room white and wall behind bed the same color pink that is in chair and then add prints above headboard and a large piece of art on wall on the right. Change pillows on chair and bed to modern and vibrant colors in grey/pink and yellow and add a coverlette to bottom. Purchase larger lamp for table on right and remove lamp from left side of bed and place a tray and some books on the ottoman. Move carpet to beside the bed. White roman blinds and painting the door white would be a good idea and just ask at paint store what needs to be done to prime, etc. Adding a fun chandelier is also an idea. Comments (30)Melissa, when I said footboard, I meant this. It has a portion of the bed that extends beyond the mattress edge. You posted a bed that had something at the foot section of the bed. By platform, I mean a bed that has a hard area and only a mattress on it. Like this. It does not extend beyond the edge of the mattress, but does not have a box spring. It is also lower to the ground. The picture you posted was a high profile bed and box spring. It was not on a typical bed frame. A standard bed frame, used with box spring and mattress looks like this. Virtually invisible and does not extend out beyond the mattress/box spring set. That being said, I'd recommend you get a headboard that is not too big for your space. Neither in height or depth (distance from the wall). I would also not get a mattress frame that extends beyond the size of the mattress. Sorry to have not been clear before....See Moreharpua728
