We are investigating option to update our cottage 1802 stone built. From a budget point of view what would a reasonable cost be to replace a 4m x 6m section of tiled roof with glazing. Thanks Alan
forgive me as I just saw this now upon my return to work after Christmas.
It is hard to answer your question as the cost will be made of a number of things not only the glazing. I.e. building work in conjunction with the glazing installation. There are also different glazing systems available that vary in price.
However, if you were to have a little more information we may be able to ask to a specialist company that we worked for the Whites Grounds project. They should be able to give you an outline cost.
Is the glazing area to be in one plane and is only fixed glass (i.e. not operable)?
best,
Marco
