Stairs help

Hello I'm updating my hall and stairs area. This is the stairs painted so far. The new carpet will be a warm taupe colour. Should I paint the stairs all white? Or the handrail in a darker stain? I don't think they're right as they are. Any advice?

Definately go dark on the handrail ... I did and it looks much richer !!

Mid grey/charcoal colour would make the pink look very chic and modern. It is also a great colour (we have it in our house) as its light enough that it doesn't show every crumb etc and dark enough to get away with not having to vac every day!

Choose something that goes with the bedroom carpets. Personally I like I similar colour throughout the house for continuity. I would choose a neutral- perhaps a warm grey

I cant remember back if 2 year olds can climb, but if they can you might need a smooth finish so they have nothing to grip and climb,I would also suggest a sign making company they do a thing product called acrylic or corrugated ,this cut to size would also do they would need to drill holes in the acrylic for you possibly

I think go darker on the handrail and paint the posts and ball tops white?
