The tiles are Misty Fjord marble herringbone from Topps Tiles (in the UK). Around £167 per square metre, but such a beautiful colour and finish. The white frame work was made by our builders/tiler from remnants of the work surface which I'd put aside for this purpose. The work surface is Minerva - we bought from Homebase - looks like marble, but not porous & very hardwearing.
