Step up to lawn or not?

We have just laid a new lawn and it is lower than expected - it is now below the lawn (pic attached). Now wondering what to do, I was inclined to use some of the quartz walling (we have some left over from the wall) to build a small step up to the lawn but others are saying this will look weird/will be a trip hazard for young children, and we should just slope the lawn down. What do you think? Thanks in advance!
