    Strawberries paired with bunch grasses are a great groundcover
    option for the Pacific Northwest. In sunny spots, try beach strawberry (Fragaria
    chiloensis    ) with blue oat grass (Helictotrichon sempervirens), shown
    here. In shaded or dappled areas, try wild strawberry (Fragaria vesca)
    with Idaho blue fescue (Festuca idahoensis ‘Siskiyou Blue’).”
