Living room- I'm afraid I'll get it wrong!!
Comments (4)Oh, that's a good idea. A plain colour or with a pattern? Do you think the sofa is right....I have my doubts about it. The shape may not be very modern and the house is modern. I just want to make sure it's cosy....See MoreNeed help with decked area
Comments (3)As you've got the Abbey Road sign, why not make it a music corner? Perhaps a Beatles inspired / Sixties monochrome scheme. You could get a musical notes design printed on an outdoor canvas for the wall, or a sail & hang over to create shade. Perhaps some instrument outlines on the wall. Planting could be black & white with pops of colour. A decorative white chair & outdoor rug would look inviting. Or you could even paint boards b&w stripes like the zebra crossing!...See MoreConservatory/living area
Comments (1)Don't put a heat source below your tv it'll wreck it. Could you whitewash the ceiling to reduce the piney feel of the room?...See MoreHELP......Need help picking a ceiling reclaimed beam size?!?
Comments (0)We're putting three reclaimed beams on our master bedroom ceiling. The room is 17x21 with flat 9' ceilings and the ceiling will have white ship lap running the 21' length. We will have three beams running the 17' length. Do we go with 6x6 or 8x8 beams?!? I don't want them to look skinny or like toothpicks but I don't want them to swallow up the room either and make the ceiling look lower and overpower the room. Please help!!!! Need to make a decision like yesterday!...See Morevictoria Simpkins
