Comments (3)If you are using an installer they should be able to give you more tips on the best layout. Light coloured or white tiles will make the space feel bigger, maybe adding a line or border of another colour to add interest. Comments (0)Hi There, Does anyone know if recessed ceiling light positioned on each side of main bathroom mirror would give good lighting for make up etc? I have small bathroom and was hoping to put 2 recessed over the bath area and 2 recessed (further together) over the mirror. I could do wall lights but design does not lend itself to this. Thanks for thoughts...See MoreCompact Bathroom Design Help
Comments (6)It small But your cabin sink unit is a good idea as you have storage space and it looks neat. I have changed my bath many times to shower unit and it has leaked every time, some times it has been the plumbers fault or bad design then it was a visitor who let the water spill while showering the last time it flooded the insurers wanted the bathroom TANKED! meaning waterproof walls and floors. This is done by an experienced plumber contractor of repute! as the insurers said too many claims from too many people with bad waterproofing. the insurer said they would not insure again or any other clients who had not got their bathroom water proofed by expert plumber fitters. SO I have gone back to the Bath with a shower enclosed and found it tops for waterproof....See MoreBathroom help - Wall panels, colours and ideas
Comments (0)Hello, I am moving to a new house near Guildford and will be re painting the whole house in neutral colours with off white woodwork and having carpet upstairs, but really don't want to have the stress and mess of removing the bathroom wall and floor tiles. I am trying to think of how I can keep the cottage/country/traditional feel with a modern twist, without removing the tiles. I will paint the door an off white. I do like wooden wall panels half way but wondering whether the blue tiles are worth keeping or what else I could do with the white tiles on the window wall and floor tiles which I dont like at all. I will change the sink to a vanity sink and toilet. Any help and ideas on what can be done without removing the tiles or what colours etc would look good would be appreciated! Photo attached. Thank you!...See MoreMarianne Z.
