What front door colour shall I do?

Hello there, I'm a little stuck with what colour I should do my own front door? I was thinking of the following:
- A flush panel bright yellow/green tone front door with a large square pull handle.
2. A traditional moulded door with the above bright colour
3. Just a white traditional style door to tie in with the current architecture.
Hmm decisions?!

Comments (16)You need some kitchen accessories kettle etc that tie in with the red and also some artwork. The red you have chosen looks on my monitor to be a cool red, perhaps a bit of a warmer shade would help. i would also extend the dining area curtains down to the floor, they will cosy up the space, as would a statement rug to give a bit more life to the room. If your living room is green then it may be nice to have some token green of the same shade, somewhere in the kitchen, a plant or some artwork, and add a bit of the kitchen red to your living room, so that there is some continuity of colour in your home, as opposed to having two separate colour boxes and never the twain shall meet.....See MoreWhat shall I put on this wall?
Comments (4)You could do a bench with a top that opened for storage. This way family & guests have a place to sit and take off their shoes or boots when entering. You could also put hooks on the wall above the bench for a place to hang coats or keys. A second option could be a sideboard or dresser. Comments (13)I think your colors are restful so I would work with those and not pop a color. Maybe some interesting artwork that had some color in it, but I think you should go for a more elegant calm look. By the way, I like the chandelier you have with the fireplace. I think I would paint the lower part of your wall the same blue as is in the top part. Then I would add some black accents in glass and lamps. Comments (3)Very difficult to see clearly, a lot of clutter in the way, if you are doing this job yourself then measure the area(s), look up up how to measure your garden advice online, measure your walls, measure what you will retain such as the shed. Get an A3 tracing paper book, sheets of A 3 white paper, eraser, pencils ruler etc. If the A3 white paper needs to be increased, tape 2 sheets together. Draw the plan to scale 1cm to the metre for example. Put in existing paths, steps services, north. Now you have a very basic plan. What kind of garden do you want? How would you divide it up to suit your needs. Do you a patio for table /chairs? Do you want to grow some veg/fruit in raised beds. Or do you want a lawn only with borders and shrubs, place your tracing paper over your plan and draw your desires on that, do as many tracings as you want, until you are satisfied with the results. Use coloured pencils. The walls need uniformity of colour, the shed could do with reprinting...start researching materials, gardening books, magazines, online for ideas that appeal to you and suit your plot. Do you have a budget in mind? If you are not engaging a landscape designer to do a complete plan for you then perhaps a consultation would be a good idea, once you have got the bones of what you want together.
