Hi. If you go for blue I would pick up one of the blues in the tiles to complement (maybe the RAF) or alternatively pick up the charcoal. I can't manage to save the pic which shows t&g your height but it gives you an idea. the bathroom is looking lovely.

The tiles really add interest to your bathroom, as previously mentioned we also recommend picking out a colour that's in the tiles for the wood panelling.

I'd go with a dark grey like farrow and ball Downpipe around the tiled area either panelled and painted, or tiles in a dark grey....and paint the upper walls a lighter grey as is this pic attached? I think that could look really good. You could also I think look at painting the base of the tub a colour. Farrow and ball do a mustard yellow called Indian yellow I think and it would pick up that yellow in the tiles too, without being too much. But I think that would only work if Downpipe was on the walls as the main block of colour.

Sorry just seeing it's pannelled not tiles on the walls so yea I'd paint that a darker grey like Downpipe with a lighter grey on top (elephants breath perhaps?) and mustard yellow on the tub of u feeling bold to make it pop and pick up the yellow from the lovely floor tiles

I agree, the blue will look great. You can pick out a few accessories and coordinate towels etc. A print like this Henry Moore sketch in a grey frame would also look good.

bought in total tiles mullingar. I love them. they look more vibrant in real. this pic has toned them down. I'm eager to get the room painted now and I'll post pics

I went with blue panelling. I like it because it makes the tiles more vibrant.

Sarsheen, you've created a lovely classic kind of luxury Edwardian effect. Fab. I think that's when those moorish tiles came into vogue initially. To continue on the theme - you could try one of those nice (wood or chrome) towel stands, which can be moved around. (Like they have in London gentleman-club type bedrooms and country-house hotels.). If you got a wood one, you could echo this with a wood framed mirror, perhaps ? A big fern type plant that loves the damp would look glorious too!

I agree re: dark grey. But what matters is how you feel about it!
