I would also definitely go white if the windows are on the green wall. Will be much more natural to tie the accent wall with the stark wht contrasting walls. Always a very chic contemporary look. Also very relaxing as opposed to the treatments standing out when you already have your standout feature- the green accent wall. Great white bed you ordered! Then I love all the blue/green/ silver accent advice. I did a similar room in purples/greys/ whites and we used great posted prints of florals with a little oriental flair in nice big mats w frames. You could do florals or nice big botanicals in greens would be very fresh and modern!! White or silver frames or maybe even the shock of black would be cool.

I feel in a situation like this, I would not add windows with no view that would probably end up with some type of coverings a great deal of the time. My situation would be use of mirrors to reflect available light back into room. Mirror could be styled to look like Windows etc. we have a similar situation in our kitchen, and we mirrored over the sink, and created two faux windows using mirror and drapery side pannels. The effect works great, and when you add the right lighting the effect is wonderful, day and night. Take a good look and visualize day and night views creating with mirrors designed into a "today" style and look.

Hi there, First of all, what a lovely space - the floor tiles are a really gorgeous feature! With these windows, it really is up to you. Shutters are fantastic for creating a clean, uncluttered feel, while, as Colourhappy says, a Roman blind is a great way to add a luxurious feel. Both create a classic look that will never go out of style. Alternatively, as you say, curtains are a gorgeous choice. Floor length curtains would create a real sumptuous look, but you may want to consider how this might block your radiator, especially if you intend to open and close them regularly. Hi, We're buying a new house and the windows aren't in great shape so we're looking to change them all. It's a 2 story, white rendered, 1980's box shaped house. On the ground floor, there's a front door in the middle of the house. On either side, there's a living room window but the windows aren't exactly the same size (same height, different width). On the 1st floor/top floor, there are 3 equal sized bedroom windows. We'd like to go with a contemporary look for the house and after talking to our window suppliers, we could go with centre top swing windows in Aluclad for the 3 bedroom windows and fixed pane picture windows for the 2 living rooms. So clear glass with no lines or bars across all 5 front facing windows. (NB: Fire regs and ventilation can be covered through smaller windows on the side of the house for both living rooms). I really like the idea of a clear view onto my garden with no lines or bars across the glass and privacy is not a concern as we're well set back from the road. In the computer generated images, the picture windows look really nice but I'm a bit concerned as I have literally never seen this style of window applied to any similar style house!! Even the window supplier had to check it to ensure it could be manufactured that way. I'd really appreciate any advice, suggestions or images of houses with picture windows that they could share? Thanks a million!!
