Comments (6)if you're not going to center the dining room table under the light, then I'd tend toward a flush or semi-flush fixture, to de-emphasize the alignment. You might want to remove the medallion from the ceiling too. Comments (0)I am torn with this design, with the light being best for the kitchen/living room spaces, and hence placing the utility room in the middle which is the darkest place in the house is the deisgn plan. Does this work from a function of house the house works, as kitchen and dining area are removed from the rest of the house with access through the porch or through the music room.
