Comments (1)Firstly -- what a lovely home! The classical styling is very nice. Regarding the door color vs. trim color -- how dark the tones are compared to each other is the first thing to consider in this case. If the tones are similar, it may look very coordinated. In other words, I would prefer a charcoal along with a medium / dark blue. Compare different tones to see what works best for you. The second thing I would consider is the undertone of the grey. It will look one way at your kitchen table in planning stages and another way entirely next to the yellow of the house and the blue of the door. If you can determine the undertone of the grey -- great! That may help you to choose the type of blue to work with. If you still are having troubles after that, consider a blue with some grey in it. Have a lovely time of it. Color is a great thing to play with....See MoreStone shed door paint colour
Comments (13)I like the blue on the right. Once that vine leafs out on the left, you will have a view-full of green. I admire your shed. Is your home equally admirable? Did you fix up the shed for your mother-in-law? Let her pick the color to her cell. Did I say that again? cascio.offsite@gmail.com...See MoreColour advice
Comments (0)Has anyone used farrow & ball slipper satin with skimming stone & charleston grey? We are using skimming stone on perimeter units which is in L-shape and charleston grey on island with 'lagoon' silestone worktop in our new kitchen. House is a new build and very well lit, we have windows/sliding door on three sides of room. Apologies no photos as not installed yet. We have all lower units apart from two tall press areas to integrate fridge, cooker etc into and one wall hung press as didn't want to crowd wall. Also looking at wimborne white in F&B and Subtle in Colourtrend brand. Ideally would like a good neutral that would work throughout a large part of house if possible. Not too grey or cream. Thank you for taking time to read this....See Morechoosing window colour
Comments (2)I think maybe a mid grey would look good...especially if you chose one with green undertones to tie into the kitchen etc. It's also more maintenance friendly than white or cream...which get dirty very fast. You can see the kind of colour I mean in this picture...but if you feel the colour doesn't work on the inside you can always have a different one to the exterior!!...See MoreMarlene Oliphant Designs LLC
