Backsplash

Have decided to go with subway toke for my backsplash. Would love some help. Do I go with 3x6 or 3x12. As well do I choose New Yorker style or basic glossy the? Thanks for any advice!

I just used the settecento new Yorker 3X12 in glossy bright white on a bathroom remodel and I absolutely love the look of this tile, it gets my vote for sure

I also like the 3 x 12. However, it all depends on the length of the space to be tiled. In a bathroom you have a long usually at least 60" and two short walls usually 36" wide so this size looks great. Take a look at your kitchen as a whole if you think the spaces are wide enough go for 3x12 glossy. It will make for a unique back splash.

Thank you for your suggestions and ideas! I love some of the more daring/colourful ideas, but I don't think I'm, personally, bold enough to go with such a contemporary look. I'm going to stick to a traditional/modern style and use large (4" x 8") white subway tiles and dark grey grout. I'm thinking of using a dark grey paint around the kitchen walls and then a lighter shade around the rest of the room, with maybe the dark grey on the wall behind the TV too. Will be a few more weeks before that's all done, but I'll post a picture when I eventually get there. Thanks again!

When we brought our house it had parquet in the kitchen, Before weIt has made had an opportunity to seal it our dishwasher flooded & they poped up. I recommend that u carefully research using it in a wet area before committing to it.

Hi there! We think a white grout is probably your best option here, if you don't want it to look too busy. This is one of our hexagon mosaic tile displays we have in the TileStyle showroom and we have used white grout for this. As you can see, the shape of the tile is still very much visible but it's still a more subtle look that's not too busy. I would go for the 3 x 12. It is a more updated look.
