Using Skimming Stone on Oak kitchen cabinets. Want to use a different colour on canopy over breakfast bar and cooker hood (which is wood) ...looking at elephants breath ? Or should I choose a totally different colour ? Tile are a pale grey with creamy fleck and I won't be changing them.
Two points- firstly the lighter colour often sits better on the eye level cabinets with a darker colour for the base units and tall units. Secondly I love the colours you have chosen- just make sure they are the same grey as the tiles- as these colours are grey/brown they could make other greys look blue.
I agree with the comments above, the darker colour would work better on the lower level. I love those colours but they do have a browny tinge to them so bare this in mind when choosing worksurfaces etc.
