Comments (39)Latest update! Made a few changes to the book cabinet to the left of the fireplace. Added chrome legs to match the legs on the tv cabinet and added doors to the top half to try to make it look less cluttered. The lighting in the photos isn't great but hopefully you get the idea.Am quite pleased with the result. Comments (5)I must admit the cashew looks pretty white on an iPad! I would maybe try a grey with a hint of mauve (you know the colour that they quite often use for french chairs etc). I've looked at the following from zoffany: fig grey, dusk and victorian purple. Comments (1)Light olive & Dark aubergine combo works well, it fits the contemporary classic style you are suggesting and are natural colours that would suit a room with a lot of window and light. You can still use one of the trending tones (a stone / grey colour) as a secondary colour.
