As the title suggests, I am handpainting my cherrywood shaker kitchen presses and Im thinking of going for Mizzle. What colour would complement them on the walls ? Kitchen is west facing so will get a lot of light and its a small enough kitchen. Black granite work top and cream tiles on the floor. Any suggestions welcome but I like the idea of greens/greys in the kitchen.
Try either F&B Pavilion Grey no 242 or Blackened no 2011 these colours don't look right on the website but I've check my swatch book and they both look good with Mizzle.
Slipper Satin, Stoney Ground or shaded white are the recommended complimentary colours but if you really want a grey you could try strong white. I've got French Gray Units which isn't a million miles away from Mizzle and I've used Dulux Egyptian Cotton on the walls, it's definitely grey (although doesn't look it on colour chart) but got a beige undertone so would work with your flooring.
Just held the F&B colour chart against my kitchen walls and the Dulux Egyptian cotton looks almost identical to F&B Ammonite. So maybe give that a try if you're a F&B addict!
