Is your fire place already painted and you're trying to figure out just what that paint color is? If this is the case there are several ways to do this. First if you have a good eye for color, you can get a number of multi-shade paint cards and try to match it. Another method and one I prefer is to take a small flake (about the size of a quarter) of the paint to a good paint store and have it scanned matched.
