I don't know whether your family enjoys watching the weather the way mine does. Often we will go sit on the porch and watch storms approach and enjoy the lightning show and thunder. I find that having a big window to watch the weather out of makes me appreciate being snug and warm on a cold winter day when the snow is falling. It is also nice to have deep windowsills I can place my plants on where they can get sun. If I don't have deep windowsills, I like to have a built in bookshelf or something under the windows to give me that space.

I,m currently working on a painting of an area in North clare called the Flaggy Shore, theres a beautiful walk there which many people enjoy , and there is lots of inspiration for artists. The famous poet the late Seamus Heaney wrote a poem about it called "Postscript"

There are lots of beautiful places,it really depends on what you like doing..Killarney in County Kerry is a very busy tourist spot with loads of things going on..Cork is also great..I think it depends on what type of things you like to do. For instance do you want to be near a beach etc.
