Need help with my kitchen please
Comments (3)Since you are keeping the flooring, everything new has to be in relation to the floor. Do you have a photo of the floor? Hold up samples of the cabinet paint and see if it enhances the flooring. You might need a more cream paint on cabinet and see these dark knobs. Some of the marble-type have many gray streaks. I'd look for something with brown-beige streaks to enhance the beige grout and beige floor tilehttps://www.houzz.com/photos/traditional-bathroom-traditional-bathroom-phvw-vp~93581 The back splash I'd do in the same "marble" as the counters b/c if you match the beige grout of the floors, with the subway tile, the back splash tile will look odd and if you use a white grout on the subway tile, it will look odd with the floors, too....See MoreNeed help picking finishing touches
Comments (7)you know what? my house is not traditional, and yet, i somehow managed to buy an oriental rug for my living room (as you can see from my photo) i've seen so many wonderful oriental rugs, it took me a little while to choose. but my problem was, i was looking online. finally, i just went into a store with my husband, and we chose together. there are thinner ones and thicker. so depends what you want/need. i went for thicker. because these rugs have several different colors in them, i think you can choose from quite a selection and not be too worried. me personally, get nervous with too much light colors, as i have a dog. but the great thing with these rugs, you can barely see any dirt or marks (if any?) i think they have good choices and prices at boundary-mills and costco. i do understand also, about you not being sure cos of your patterned sofa. don't over think. i have seen soooo many pictures of people just going for it and mixing patterns. i know you can find some on houzz. i'll have a look, too. my living room even has some tartan in the curtains. one sofa is solid and the other two have stripes ha and i think it works with my rug. MAYBE, take a picture of your sofa. go to a shop with the rugs and put the photo against the rug and imagine. as for the 3 photos you showed, i like the creamer one and darker one....See MoreNeed help deciding what to use to floor my hallway!!
Comments (8)Maybe if you stuck to one colour scheme such as white and purple or grey and lime green, colours that compliment each other. You could have a cabinet on the larger side with some family photos or a mirror above it and maybe a single colour on the top half of the wall and a complimentary wallpaper on the bottom half. You could go for wood on the floor or a simple soft carpet but it might get muddy. You could also have a bench with storage underneath for shoes and bags, but try get a colour that matched the walls. You could also paint the banisters if they don't match the rest of the room....See MoreNeed colour help for white kitchen
Comments (12)I really like the clean lines of your kitchen , it's beautiful and I would not add to much colour but you could use some accessories with green and white that would compliment this minimalistic kitchen. For example adding a bright green plant/s or an accessory the same colour as the clock on your top wall can put everything in a nice perspective!...See MoreCOMPAC
