It feels bland because floors and walls are beige. (ish). If you want to make a statement about a room. contrasting shades work really well. You have spotlights so the south aspect is irrelevant. Put a dimmer on spots if not already there so you control the light and feel of a room. I presume the fire is staying there so that back wall would be perfect for TV to be put on/entertainment system. Corner couch facing tv wall with chaise lounge on fire side. Behind the corner or L shaped couch, table and chairs so the room is functional for entertaining also and the layout is proportional. The room also has a focal point (TV)

Hi im looking to get a new sofa for my living room . I currently have an L shape but and not happy with it . There is only one really wall which I think it can be placed and its infront of my window which I think is blocking light ? And is against curtains . I'm thinking of also get roman curtain blinds in a pelmet box to avoid that ? I'm looking for any advice or inspiration I don't mind changing the style decor of the room ? Also I need storage for toddler toys so need to redesign and layout Photos in comments

To add, these will be on the opposite sides of the room, facing each other. I havent bought the chairs yet, i can change their color too but had planned on cream

I've been looking for a leather corner sofa in Dublin. I've been to all the big names and haven't seen any I've really liked. Looking for something really modern with clean lines. Any suggestions for places I might not have seen?
