It is fair comment on not so pretty tiles and unfortunately you can't do much with the floor here because it covers too large area. On a picture you can see only lounge area, which is actually part of the kitchen. Tiles cover floor in the kitchen, lounge area and dining room. Extra large rug wouldn't make it better. This project has two tough points: tight budget and timing.

Hi - its such a big and important project, i really think you need to sit down with a good kitchen designer and fully tease out your requirements and then look at every possible layout option. by sitting down with someone, they will draw each possible layout to scale in front of you and that way you will be able to see the pros and cons of each design. it makes decision making much easier best of luck with the project Barry

Hi, Just looking for some advice on paint for the walls in the kitchen. The kitchen cabinets are Warm Parchment and Pepper Pot. I'm looking at the shade Dulux Delicate Willow for the walls but I'm wondering would it be too dark as the kitchen would be dark. We have 2 Windows, one North facing and the other facing West. Would love to get your ideas on this. Thanks Mary
