We recently painted our living room accent wall with BM Revere Pewter and all the other walls Super white. There just seems to be so much "wall" now. The color combo just doesn't seem right. We do plan on staining the stair rails a dark black/brown. We are thinking of trying a whole new color palette. Ideas?? We like grays/blues/greens/creams. Help please!
In general the strong drawing edges and angles of the room shouldn't be overemphasized (accent color/white), nor be negated (white/white). To aspire is a bright and soothing color palette.
I would go with something with a grayish undertone to soften the color, but with enough color to add warmth and personality to the room. That one angle is a killer, and those two walls need to be the same color unless you want to emphasize them.
