Please please help.
I am doing a temporary fix on a 1970s house we bought... We will be doing a big job in the spring, but for now I am putting linoleum on the kitchen to replace carpet tiles. I had one shop, one trip, one chance with my twin toddlers to pick flooring and had to buy because I need this put down in a few days. Linoleum comes in all sorts of wood effects but I decided that wouldn't be a good idea as the ceiling (not pictured) is all pine so I thought a wood floor effect would make it seem like the inside of a coffin.
My options are cream tiles (similar to those pictured) or just plain cream without a tile effect (I found a pic of another ugly kitchen to illustrate what this might look like).
I have till the morning to confirm which one I am going with. I'm thinking the kitchen is so busy a cream tiled (looking) floor might be too much. Please please help.
Thank you
