What are the best suggestions you can give for flooring rooms in a house? Should the same flooring be used for halls, kitchens etc or can different flooring be used and if so how should the transitions be done? I've seen photos of individual areas done in combinations of tiles and wooden floors for example but what is the general idea / best way of doing it? My kitchen and sun room will be divided by an arch way - no door. The loving room will be separated by pocket doors and each other area hallway etc will also have doorways. Any advice and supporting photos appreciated!
