Comments (8)The two things that jump out of me one the TV looks to be too high on the wall. It should be lower and anchored with a proper television console table something long that fits the style of the adjacent dining table also the light fixture that is over the table seems to be a bit too high and out of place with the rest of the furnishings I might get a proper chandelier for that area...See MoreDepressing back garden. Comments (5)What are we looking at to the right of the photo that's white? Get some annuals in the flower beds. Check the amount of sun you have and plant accordingly. You can mix vegetables and flowers. From your photo, and in order, I would get a canvas gazebo both to give you privacy from the neighbors and to block your view of their houses and the kids stuff. Mine had the canvas you could zip up AND screens. We had our table and chairs in there. It was really lovely and lasted many years. Comments (1)Hi, I think your original post was meant to read 'just laid a new patio' rather than 'new lawn'? Assuming that's the case I would be inclined just to gently slope the lawn down to the patio rather than building a step. In part because you'll end up with water pooling on the patio with nowhere to soak into.
