“Ever since I met Rick Alpen of ArtisStone I knew I wanted to work with him on a custom project. He is an artist and an exceptional tradesperson. I hired Rick to complete a concrete sculpture as a landscape and building solution. The project required that we collaborate and brainstorm together in the planning phase. Rick was a lot of fun to work with in this process. In the end he created just what I was envisioning, and our clients were thrilled. His work is still a conversation piece - people love to hear how the "rock planter" is made by hand, by a local artisan, using concrete. Recommended!”

He replaced a ceiling fan, repaired and painted a pocket door, re-screened a sliding screen door panel, addressed the noisy bathroom fan, put a dimmer on our enormous light fixture over the stairway as well as aligned and repaired a heavy side door to our deck. He did this all in 6 hours and was very professional and friendly and kind to everyone in my family.”
