The painters showed good judgement about where to paint and what color combinations would work best. CLARIFICATION! The painters doing the actual work knew better than to give advice which would make them responsible if things didn't turn out to our satisfaction----and everyone has different color preferences so they have to watch what they say! However, they competently got their views on the table without actually recommending anything, because they cared so much about the outcome. We love the results of our quasi-collaboration. This sort of outcome results from trust and good judgement on both sides. In addition, the quality of the painting is excellent all around.”

“We found Blackwood painting through the Houzz App The app recommended painters in our area when we were looking to hire professionals. We had a relatively large job. We needed the entire main floor painted which included 4 large rooms with open concept and cathedral ceilings Plus all of the wood stained trim doorframes , window frames, and the stained wood windows themselves. Blackwood came out immediately to look at the job and give us a quote. We did get other quotes but decided to go with Blackwood and we're so glad we did. I will say they were not the lowest bid but you definitely get what you pay for....Quality of work and excellent customer service! Kent and his team were all professional and very friendly. Anyone who knows having your house torn apart for professionals to come in can be quite Over whelming and even uncomfortable. But Danny and Kendall who were in our home every day promptly at 7 :00 a.m. were so easy to work with and communicate with. The work itself was top notch ! I could not believe how they transformed our house especially with the insane detail work of painting out all of the wood stain trim. When there were touch-ups or things that needed to be addressed there was NEVER an issue and they gladly did whatever needed to be done to make us happy.
