“Wendy Van Buren has acted as a color consultant, painter, cabinet refinisher and plasterer for my historic home. She has performed miracles on all finishes and is a true artist. She is extremely professional, especially about completing work to very high standards. I appreciate that she is honest and works within the budget that is set so I can be confident that there will be no surprises at the end. I have worked with her for a number of years and will be having her back to my home again soon. The Project Cost amount reflects a number of projects that Wendy has done in my home. “The owner is polite, professional and honest. He tried very hard to give me a quote where the most could be done for the price. He did not suggest we skimp anywhere to save a few dollars. We were in agreement on the painting style and number of coats (2). He was very detail oriented and explained exactly what he felt needed to be done for the best results & why. he kept asking if I was ok with his suggestions. I know this sounds like nothing but you would not believe the number of painters who came out and told me what THEY felt would be best - no matter what I wanted- and were not polite. Thank you”

He has an acquired sense of style when it comes to assessing what colors and combinations of hues and shades will help bring life to an otherwise dull room. His keen observation in taking in the layout of the kitchen and how the colors will help bring out the best features of the wood work, is the reason why I hired him as my color consultant. His work with Farrow & Ball paint in upscaling the kitchen cabinets is remarkable. I find that the quality of Farrow & Ball paint is far superior to other paints and brings in more hue and depth to the finished work as opposed to other paints.”
