“We worked with Garden Gate on two major yard renovation projects, in summer 2008 and fall 2010. From concept to completion, the entire team and experience, led by designer Cathy Carr, was first rate. I would describe us as "involved" clients and our input and feedback was welcomed throughout--including thoughtful understanding of parts of the project we wished to plant ourselves. The 2010 project involved many moving parts, including removal of existing concrete/asphalt driveway, stormwater flooding mitigation, installation of flagstone patio, water feature, stone steps and driveway pavers, as well as plant installation. When the following spring thaw revealed water seepage issues, they returned without hesitation to reroute drainage and solve the problem. The projects have transformed our outdoor living space and bring us great joy as we spend lots of time outside with family and friends.”

“We have been clients of ILD for nearly 20 years. They designed, and maintained our grounds, gardens, ponds & water features, including the landscaping for two distinctly different homes. Like player-coaches, the owners of ILD are on the job from design consultation to hands on working the grounds, and paying attention to every detail that goes into the overall plan until completion. They are a start to finish company that stands behind their work and maintains a personal relationship with their customers. No job is too small or too large. When we moved an hour away from the home where ILD designed and maintained our gardens we had occasion to consider other landscapers only to swiftly return to ILD as their customer service, quality, and overall skill set are second to none.”

“Bailey's has provided lawn care services to us for a while and do a great job but we recently had them remove 7 large trees from our backyard and and do some additional clean up involving a large area of out of control ivy and they did a fantastic job with that as well. You would never even know the trees and ivy bank were there. Did an awesome job with the cleanup and haul away. I feel they are fair with their pricing and the people who work for them are very polite and courteous, including office staff. A pleasure to deal with them.”

“We hired Bella Terra Landscapes to build a hardscape front patio on our home. The owner, Mike Schimmel, came to our home to give us an estimate and right away we were impressed with his presentation of ideas for the patio. He gave us a little background of his company and we were equally impressed with the fact that he and his staff, on a regular basis, keep their certifications current and attend classes in the field to always provide for new and innovative ideas and techniques. Mike sent a 4-man crew to our home and each member of that crew was dressed in uniform provided by Bella Terra. Mike would show up everyday at our home and discuss the plan for the day with the crew. Each guy knew their daily role and they hardly took break. Each member of the crew took pride in their work, checking and rechecking each move they made. The finished product was spectacular!! We have gotten so many compliments from neighbors on the job --- and we have given out the 8 business cards Mike left for us to neighbors who are now interested in having Bella Terra doing some work for them. Overall, Mike and Bella Terra Landscapes is a great company, with a great crew!! Mike was always available and returned our calls in a timely manner. You really get what you pay for with Bella Terra Landscapes. We highly recommend this company for any of your hardscape needs!! We would hire this company again in a heart beat!! Thanks Mike and Bella Terra Landscapes!!”

“Cape Landscape Contractors have been working at my home for 18 to 20 years. Landscaping, patio work, snow removal, general upkeep, mowing, mulch, leaf removal and weeding. I opened my business, Annapolis Wedding Chapel 8 years. the grounds were barren - and there was one dead plant at the corner of the building. They installed a large patio for weddings, grasses, plants, mulch, stone work, weeding and so much more. Cutting grass every week and keeping the property picture perfect! So many people in the area have stopped into the chapel and asked for their business card.”

“We just had a 2 tier patio w/ fire pit and deck installed. We are very happy with the job they did and have already recommended them to many neighbors. From start to finish everyone who worked on the job was very professional and knowledgeable. I was also impressed the owner himself came out to meet us and discuss our design options. The project took roughly 2 weeks and it is absolutely spectacular. 5 stars for sure! :)”

“Shorescapes remodeling/landscape business is highly recommended. We are very pleased with the results of our new patio and walk. We love our new sidewalk that was especially designed for our particular area. It has brought us many compliments. Shorescapes is responsible for all of our landscape work. “We worked with Aaron Raines with Live Green Landscapes to build a 50' long dry stack bluestone wall with evergreen plantings to screen our house from our neighbor's driveway. After receiving multiple bids, Live Green was not the lowest (never go with the low bid) but was middle of the road. They did a phenomenal job with the construction as well as sending updated construction photos as they were completing the work while we were on vacation. The plantings they provided have flourished and we have received numerous compliments on the quality and appearance of the overall product. Aaron has always made himself accessible if we have questions and we would definitely highly recommend Live Green Landscaping to others.”
