They paid attention to details and didn't cut corners. Workers came with a clear plan each day, showed up on time and worked hard. Tom and/or his project managers were on site every day, explaining what they were doing, what challenges they saw and what changes needed to be made (and believe me, that engineer husband of mine appreciated it). Above all, they are fair, kind, accommodating, responsive and very easy to work with. We've worked with many contractors and would have them back in a heartbeat.”

“Gravel to Gold took on a large hardscaping and landscaping project at our 1940s bungalow in Pacific Beach. The work entailed removal of many truckloads of old grass and debris, and much tedious prep work to lay the foundations of a successful planting plan, including irrigation, LED lighting, and specific "obscuring" objectives. GtoG was the designer and general contractor, with the concrete work sub-ed out to a trusted contractor with many decades of experience. The final product is beyond expectations and was completed in almost exactly the predicted time. GtoG even re-did some of the work that to me was perfect, but that did not meet their very high standards. In the end we paid what we were told the cost would be to within just a few percent (there are always surprises in work like this), but the accuracy with regard to budget and timing is the best I've ever encountered by a wide margin. We would definitely use GtoG again, and in fact we are on our new project, a much bigger remodel of a 1920s Spanish-style house. Highest recommendation.”

“Landscape Logic had been recommended by in-laws who'd used them for a major remodel and landscape of their back patio and yard. The result of that work was impressive. We'd also seen a couple of homes in our neighborhood that had their front yard areas transformed by Landscape Logic. Also impressive. So we called them; just to get an idea about what could be done with what we were able to spend. We're so glad we made that call and signed on to have them do the work. Tony Vitale and his crews were professional, efficient and courteous from start to finish. What really impressed me was that they were here every day and they worked full days until the project was done. During the planning phase Tony listened to us, took our ideas and made great recommendations based on those ideas...and stayed within the budget we had set. We didn't have a huge project, but the visual results and quality of work transformed our yards and patio into areas that are both beautiful and useable. Months later we're still commenting on how happy we are that we chose Landscape Logic. By the way. They don't complete the job and disappear. They follow up. “Darren and Ultrascape did an AMAZING job landscaping my new home which came with a dirt lot. I am extremely pleased now 2.5 years later that I did business with Darren and his crew for 2 reasons I will further explain: First, Darren is a highly artistic designer and his work is truly breathtaking. Others had very square and boring lines and didn't know how to strike the right balance between soft and hard scapes. Darren's work creates that perfect harmony that is picturesque and visitors will greatly admire. Second, Darren's crew does excellent and HIGH QUALITY work when it comes down to structural work, irrigation, electrical, and gas lines. I am an engineer by trade and kept a close eye on the day to day work and their work truly built my confidence in their work. I can honestly say they do things the right way and don't cut any corners. And that matters. They really do sweat the details. “Hired P.D. to build waterfalls in my back yard. Robert came over to discuss what we wanted. He understood and offered creative suggestions of his own. The project took 7 days start to finish and exceeded our expectations. The plantings have grown in amongst the boulders and it looks even more natural as time goes by. Robert is a nature artist and I would recommend him to anyone. In fact, he just resurfaced our patio and did another excellent job.”
