“Kristen designed a beautiful makeover for our yard - front, back and sides. She asked lots of questions before designing anything - what we wanted (pavers, pretty flowers), what we didn't want (water feature, yellow flowers) and in general, how we wanted to use our yard. She came up with lovely, detailed plans for a traditional looking garden (with our traditional looking house) - that were revised slightly with discussion, then found a couple of contractors to bid on the work. She supervised the work of the one we chose, making sure they followed the plans. She recommended a new gardner - good choice. About a year later she replaced the few plants that hadn't made it (for no charge), and now almost two years later the place is absolutely beautiful! I can't tell you how many complements we have received ever since the job was originally completed - and they continue to this day!”

“This past summer we hired Landsystems Landscapes to design a backyard retreat for our family. “Aitken & Associates considered all of the elements we wished to include in the landscape of our home, together with the grading plan of our lot, and came up with a design that could accommodate our wishes. We have been enjoying the result for 10 years now, with my only regret being the things I changed on my own from the written design plan as we were executing, thinking I had just come up with "better" idea. Wrong! They know what they're doing, and you can be sure its been thought all the way through. Everyone in the office was great to work with, returning phone calls and emails in a timely manner, and showing up for scheduled appointments on time. Our design plan was done when they said it would be, and we went straight to the City to get our permits.
