“John was great! Our front yard was an unorganized jungle that completely blocked our home. We asked John to design a yard that complemented the 1920's prairie style, and the result speaks for itself. The angles of the home are contrasted with the large decorative boulders and wavy long grass, and the home is surrounded by Japanese maples that provide color contrast. I am sure that John could explain all the nuance that comes together so beautifully, but for me it is just a job well done and a wonderful result. John also designed L-shaped raised bed gardens behind the home and planted a lush array of flowering plants that really make the home stand out. Thanks, John!”

“John Newman and his crew are absolute professional. The quality is top notch. He worked with us to get exactly what we asked for - a yard with little to no maintenance that would attract birds and butterflies. We are enjoying our 5th year of watching mockingbirds and bluebird babies hatch in our yard. “I had Courtland Landscape Architecture to design and build a full backyard environment for our home. It include a stone paver walkway with grass surround, stone columns, extended natural stone patio work, an outdoor kitchen, oversized substantial pergola in cedar, innovative stonework for an outdoor built in hot tub look, and complicated and beautiful outdoor landscape lighting - all integrated with timers and existing home lighting. My experience was excellent! Lance created a beautiful design, maintaining a design aesthetic that exceeded my own ideas and standards. I trusted his design judgement completely. 100% first class. HIs team of craftsmen (and that's exactly what they are) were simply the best available in Atlanta and took extreme pride in their work. Never rushed - always done the right way. The results were stunning. And he has backed up his work without reservation when follow up was needed. This was a high-end project that couldn't let down the main house, and he absolutely delivered. I wouldn't hesitate to engage him again if I had an important project that had to be done right... and done with flair.”

“After talking with a few other landscape companies, my wife and I hired Prospect Design Co. to come up with a landscaping solution to some drainage issues in our back yard. We were impressed with Chad's approach; it had the practicality we needed, but also a design sensitivity and a sense of craft that I wasn’t seeing in the other companies. His solution was creative, smart, and looks great. He worked within our budget and phased the project out. The first phase (now completed) was hardscaping, including a patio area, pathway and drainage system. The crew went beyond what was expected, and Chad was good about keeping us updated on the progress throughout the project. Overall, it was a great job and we’re looking forward to starting the next phase.”

“From the very first visit Marcia and her team took complete care of my project, listening to what input I had and realizing a joint vision for the space. Her landscape architect did a perfect job in the space, working in realtime to scope out the project and get my reactions. From there Marcia reviewed planting choices and hard surfaces. Touches like reusing a significant amount of brick from the original garden gave it a perfect blend of new and old. When it came to execution they managed to perform the entire proejct without entering my house - masterful given the 6' wall around the entire space. That level of care and attention to detail was indicative of their entire approach. I never lifted a finger or had to discuss lagging times lines. Nor was I asked to be there for any of the work. Masterful design combined with superb execution are Marcia's hallmarks. She and her team of designers, support staff and craftsmen are world class. I enjoy their work every day and known that they are always there for me to keep things looking great. The last visit from them was a summer refresh. They weeded, trimmed, replanted and checked and reset the irrigation system, and flushed and refilled the fountain. They really care that their gardens remain in great shape and I look forward to working with them for a long time to come.”
