“I hired Ben to do a full-scale front and rear-yard landscaping project on a "small-ish" city lot in an urban neighborhood. The project included quite a bit of hardscape and soft-scape, and Ben listened carefully to my vision for what I wanted and devised a plan to match those specifications. Now my patio and small backyard feels like an extension of my family room, which is exactly what I wanted. The crew who completed the work commenced the project immediately and worked tirelessly for three weeks until it was finished. They were extremely professional, careful, and courteous. Ben was also very helpful to resolve an issue that arose with the next door neighbor, which was going above and beyond what I hired him to do. I could not be happier with the results!”

“We're original owners of a "semi-custom" home built in the early 90's. For nearly 20 years we had a cookie-cutter front yard -- bluegrass, one tree, builder front porch. In 2012 -- the hottest summer on record for the Denver area -- we decided to break the mold in the neighborhood and xeriscape the yard. Phil and Designscapes came highly recommended and we now see why. Our yard is no longer cookie-cutter or boring in any way! New driveway, redesigned front porch that is safer and easier to navigate, xeriscape groundcovers that are more beautiful than bluegrass now provide a lovely welcoming entrance to our home. We've added a water feature and seating this summer, along with pots full of flowering annuals. As expected, we had a few plants that didn't make it through the winter, but they were promptly replaced under Designscapes' warranty this summer. I can't recommend a company more highly. I'm sure they aren't the least expensive. I am sure they produced the highest value for our money and I can't wait to do the back yard!”

JB was extremely detail orientated with his computer design and the final product looked exactly as planned. JB was on site daily to ensure the work was up to his standards and communicated with me daily to ensure our confidence in him and his crew.”

“I dreamed of a beautiful mountain retreat in my backyard for years. Environmental Design helped my dream come true and more. I now have a incredible flag stone sitting area surrounded by boulders, timber and trees. The elevated berms give my yard demension. The trees and shrubs give me the privacy I wanted. The are professional, and honest. They didn't leave until it was just the way I wanted it. Love them.”

“We had a very outdated and environmentally unfriendly landscape around the 3acre site of our 1980s southwest run style berm home. Concrete with a very formal ugly brick pattern in front of our south-facing solar energy source, and asphalt paving (UGH!) everywhere else. It made the house hot in summer and ugly. The house also needed an entrance, as there was not an obvious one. Peter Chivers and his crew put together a plan with us to start to " remediate" the site. Peter's taste and ours I think really fit. He designed a fabulous new southwestern entry, even scrounged around and found a very cool old hand hewn beam for the header. There's more work to be done with plants and the landscape, and we'll be working with them again next year. You should know that Peter is a perfectionist and as with the really good people, sometimes things take longer than you think. We didn't push, but if we had I think it would probably be ready for pictures. We'll put some up as soon as we can!”

“The team at Outdoor Craftsmen is a group of talented professionals who envisioned and executed an incredible landscape for our home that went beyond our expectations. Chris designed a plan that creatively solved our issues of poor drainage and lack of privacy with extensive boulder hardscapes, large berms, and amazing plant specimens. During the two phases of our job (almost 5 months total) the crew maintained a clean and safe job site, kept open communication, and dealt with many last-minute requests and changes from us with ease and flexibility. We now have a beautiful, private oasis that we love - and spend much of our time in! We would not hesitate to recommend Outdoor Craftsmen to anyone. Their commitment to excellence is evidenced in their outstanding work.”
