“From our first meeting with Tom Kusmerz, The Barn Nursery, we were sold on working with that company and looked no further. Through conversation and walking around on our property, Tom was able to create a hardscape design concept that we just loved. Our retaining wall was failing and we needed to redesign the whole thing. With his help we chose natural stone that blended well with our existing house brick and pool decking and gave us both the color and natural look we were after. Tom worked with our pool and concrete contractors so everything on our project was done in the right order and no one had to wait on someone else. “We had our apron to the driveway and the front sidewalk and entrance done with pavers. We were happy to hear that polymeric sand was used so that weeds would not grow between the pavers. The grading of the sidewalk was excellent and there was no need to even have a step due to this. We loved the artistic look of the sidewalk. The entrance from the driveway is wider and gives it a more elegant look. The sidewalk has the pavers turned along the two edges for the border appearance. The finished project far exceeded our expectations. We plan to use Yorkville Hill for our patio and landscaping!
