“We used Live Oak Manors for a complete overhaul of our back yard landscaping and hardscaping, including the installation of synthetic turf. The project was completed in December 2017 and we are extremely happy with the end result. In addition to the backyard hardscaping and landscaping, we also used Live Oak Manors for the installation of an irrigation system in the front of the house which they were able to install in one day and are currently working with them to install exterior lighting. “John was great! Our front yard was an unorganized jungle that completely blocked our home. We asked John to design a yard that complemented the 1920's prairie style, and the result speaks for itself. The angles of the home are contrasted with the large decorative boulders and wavy long grass, and the home is surrounded by Japanese maples that provide color contrast. I am sure that John could explain all the nuance that comes together so beautifully, but for me it is just a job well done and a wonderful result. “From the very first visit Marcia and her team took complete care of my project, listening to what input I had and realizing a joint vision for the space. Her landscape architect did a perfect job in the space, working in realtime to scope out the project and get my reactions. From there Marcia reviewed planting choices and hard surfaces. Touches like reusing a significant amount of brick from the original garden gave it a perfect blend of new and old. When it came to execution they managed to perform the entire proejct without entering my house - masterful given the 6' wall around the entire space. That level of care and attention to detail was indicative of their entire approach. I never lifted a finger or had to discuss lagging times lines. Nor was I asked to be there for any of the work.
