Macars Interiors

Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars25 October 2015
“The Macars Interiors are well mannered folks, we have not yet ordered through them, but have visited their store several times to check products and possible ideas for a floor covering. Each time Cary has been a great help. Never pushing or over powering on trying to sell his products. He has quoted me prices that are compatible to other shopping stores in the area. The folks at Macars are knowledgeable in all areas for products to use and design. I hope I can do business with the Macars when we are ready to finalize out decisions.”

“We recently had Passerino Painting and Construction come out for a kitchen counter update and shower renovation. The total project took about 3 weeks, which was 1 week longer than the original estimate. We were worked in last minute, which meant we did get our project done 2 months prior to our original plan, which was great. The quality of the work done was superb - we now have an almost brand new bathroom that is gorgeous, and beautiful butcher block countertops. Our only complaint was the amount of time spent working per day on our project...general hours ran about 10:00 - 4:00, but those were the long days. Many days, work did not start until almost 11:00 or 12:00, and things were often wrapping up by 3:30. There were also multiple days where one of both of the assisting workers were out sick. We believe longer days would have lent to the project being completed closer to the initial estimate. We were told the kitchen would take about 2 days, and it took almost 2 weeks before being completely finished. We also went over a week without a functional kitchen sink, which again, we had accounted for only a couple days so had not planned appropriately. All in all, we are totally happy with the product and would recommend the quality work to anyone, we just were less impressed with the work ethic and schedule.”

“Eric has done several jobs for me (and my daughter), renovated a powder room, laid porcelain tile flooring, replaced windows, added a mud room into garage area. Very professional, conscientious and personable, he's knowledgeable with much attention to detail, and estimates were spot on. I would highly recommend his work.”

“Farney's sold me the kitchen cabinets, Formica counter tops, and linoleum flooring.Chris, at Farney, designed it. Bob Roggie and Justin Wormwood installed everything. I couldn't be more pleased. The quality of the materials, is tops. The workmanship by these two men is superb...really over the top. Some people might want ceramic tile floors, and granite counter tops, but this is what I wanted, and I absolutely love the whole kitchen, I can't believe it is mine ! I think I sent photos to Chris, but if you want more, I have plenty.”

“A small family company that I have stopped in to see their custom furniture for years (since I was communting to college). Peter is a cabinet maker with an old soul for craftmanship. I had a vision for a kitchen and he worked to make it a reality. My cupboards are tongue and groove and fashioned like "my grandmother's pantry". Every item is custom crafted, the refrigerator panels, ventilation hood, peninsula, and 2 sided glass hutch (which is a room divider). Peter drew it up, then produced an actual scale model from wood, and constructed the items off site. I was a very particular customer that he worked hard to please. When the cupboards were delivered (to Rochester, NY, 180 miles away) they fit exactly, and the crowning touch was the custom moldings which trimmed everything to perfection. You can see my kitchen by viewing "soupkitchen" ideabook (projects). This kitchen was in the planning for several years in my head. So many of the local contractors and kitchen design consultants could not see my vision. Peter made it happen. I love getting my coffee in the morning and how my kitchen feels as the hub of activity throughout the day. It is perfect for me and this house.”
