“I found Nilson on Instagram (via #DFWtile). I liked the photos he posted but hesitated to reach out at first because I had just gotten burned by a trim guy I also found on Instagram. I am super particular / perfectionistic, but decided to risk it. I can honestly say, Nilson is excellent. He has completely exceeded my expectations. We first hired him to do our kitchen backsplash. I was impressed with his precision and attention to detail (he might even have me beat...which, if you know me, is saying something, LOL). We hired him a second time to do our fireplace surround. Again, excellent job. We've now hired him a third time to redo our master shower. This project is no small feat. He's turning an outdated, sunken shower into a modern, curbless one, including changing the footprint. We're mid project, but so far, so good. I have no doubt it's going to be awesome when done. We've hired a fair number of contractors in our day and it's hard to find someone who actually cares about their work. In that way, Nilson has been refreshing. He's really focused on getting things just right. He's polite, punctual and communicates well. I'm the type of person who wants to know all my options about things like where exactly the shower box will sit, how the shower drain is centered on the floor and how the tile will be cut around the edges. Nilson has patiently walked through it all with me. In fact, several times he's brought up things I wouldn't know to ask, but figured I'd want to know. So appreciated. Highly recommended. P.S. “I contracted with PAS construction 10 April to remodel my bathroom. When I called the company, they came out the same day to look at the job and give me a bid on the work that I wanted done. They listened to what I had to say and gave their opinion and on 10 April 2023 begin work. This is by far a great team to work with. They are truly professional in every way, and their skills will definitely put them on the map in Mclennan County as they kept their word, and the price they quoted was the price they charged. They were always on time and very neat as their work area was always spotless by the end of the day and most important, they made sure the floors were covered so as not to scratch the flooring. The bathroom remodel was beautiful. As we also needed a front door, they were also contracted to change out the front door and screen as well as some other minor work and that also turned out beautiful. “Chip designed and installed our new kitchen from the walls out. I love how it looks, but the real plus is the overall design. I love the drawers in the lower cabinets and the small changes he made to the layout have made a great difference - moving the dishwasher, including pullout trash/recycling bins and sliding the stove marginally to the left.
