“Amy and her team from Urban Cottage designed my house from the ground up. She made many significant improvements from the initial design and the results were nothing short of spectacular. This is the third house I have done with her, but the first original construction project. She is now re-doing an older project and breathing new life into that as well. Everyone that walks in raves, raves, raves. Everywhere you look there is some other thoughtful detail. Our builder loved working with her, too. She worked hard to keep us on budget and literally worked around the clock to get us finished by deadline. Her shop is extremely popular as well....just can't say enough good things!”

“My husband and I are clients of Amy Klebitz and are beyond excited to have her alongside us in the "transformation process" of our home. We are consulting with Amy on our (small) home (big) renovation project because she is practical, creative and efficient in getting our ideas into motion. We are currently in the designing phase with Amy and so far she has exceeded our every expectation. She is brilliant at taking our ideas, sketches, and magazine clippings and meshing them with the existing floor plan. Amy collected our ideas, took measurements of our home, and in 3 days gave us 3 design options to choose from. Amy is sensitive of our budget while not sacrificing all of our wants for our needs. She gives great attention to maximizing the functionality of our space, yet everything remains aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Our home is an investment, but more importantly it is where we live, eat, sleep and make memories. “As the master bath was our first total “gut” renovation ever, we were most grateful to tap into the talents of Mary Baldwin of Mary Baldwin Interiors. After carefully assessing our style, needs and budget limitations, she quickly conceived a vision for the space and then went to work to make it a reality. She did not disappoint! Collaborating with Ms. Baldwin has been both a pleasure and an education. To be honest, we thought we wanted an “all white” bathroom but were gently schooled in why this approach was not appropriate for our master bath. She showed us how the dark stained wood of a prominent, angular raker window in the peak of our vaulted ceiling and dark stained wood trim throughout the house (that we did not want to change), as well as the connecting master bedroom, “drove” the design and color choices. (I never would have made those connections!) After many tireless hours of research and consultation, the finished result is a cohesive, spa-worthy master bath that we love and enjoy. Ms. Baldwin’s creative, yet practical approach to design and use of innovative solutions has led us to seek her assistance with two additional projects in our home: redesign of the master bedroom and the complete renovation of a secondary full bath. We’ve already started on these projects and can’t wait to see the final results!”

Besides your professional insight into “what will work” design-wise, you were cognizant of our budget and overall concept of interior design. The following is a list of both professional and personal attributes you bring to your work: You listen to the client. Listening is a skill that is undervalued in an age when everyone has an opinion. You show up on time and are prepared. As Ben Franklin said: “Failing to prepare is preparing to fail”. You prepare.
