“The first project was a kitchen re-do including a six foot addition plus converting the basement into an apartment. The work was very high quality and improved the outside appearance of my house. His bid was comparable to others and I liked the fact he worked by himself (except for subcontractors) rather than a large crew. He always had a solution for any problem during the construction and the job was completed on schedule and within the budget. Since then he has been back at least six times for smaller projects. I did not bother to obtain other bids for any of them. I would highly recommend this contractor - which I have.”

“Reached out to Jay and his guys about a bathroom remodel and they did an awesome job. Jay was prompt and very professional. Showed the product and everything that was promised was done. The guys showed up and did the work. Definitely exceeded my expectations. I had two bathrooms done and all done within 3 days. The first three pictures are before and the latter are after. I had a basement bathroom done and the main bathroom completed as well. Complete ceramic tile tear out and reinstall with onyx shower and a shower kit tear out with a new tub tub/shower onyx panel install. Great work guys!”

“Bobbie and Monty stopped out several times during the short project checking on things, seeing progress, etc. They did an amazing job following through, making sure I was happy as a customer and helpful when it came to making decisions! After I tried to complete my bathroom floors myself with peel and stick vinyl, I had to call in the pros. I decided have tile put in. While there, we decided to do the backsplash in my kitchen. They were able to demo and install very quickly. They did such an amazing job!”

“It is my pleasure to review Leiht Restoration. This company has done many jobs for our household over the years. These include outside lighting, excavating, tree removal, roofing, room remodel with painting and new electronics and various other jobs. However the most difficult was the complete tear down and remodel of our kitchen area which was half of our first level. This included removal of a wall and placing of a support beam, creating a "kitchen" area for our family of 5 to function in for 3 months, and protecting the rest of the house from serious dust and dirt. This was all completed within the expected time frame with NO issues. In the" kitchen" he created I was only missing my dishwasher and oven. This was a big expense for us and Aaron respected this and handled everything. It has been the best investment we have ever made. The only thing negative I have to say about Leiht Restoration is that they are now located in Iowa and not Indianapolis!!”

“I contacted Chris Gardner at Bella Homes about building a custom home in the Ames area. He was very responsive despite being very busy. I described to him what I was looking for in a house and within a week he had a plan that incorporated all our key features. He made the changes we wanted done to the plan within a day. He did not ask for payment to be made before he worked with us, which was surprising as most builders require a design fee or make you sign an outrageous time and materials design agreement. He always responded to texts and phone calls within a short period of time. They are very busy so there will be times when they cannot address your issues as fast as you would think, but this is true of all builders. I think Bella Homes is actively trying to address this issue that all builders have. We also went shopping for selections with Kassie Knudson, the Bella Homes interior designer. She was very helpful. All this and Bella Homes did not ask us for anything (I paid him a design fee anyway). After sending our plan out for bid, we had problems with the lot we chose (not a Bella Homes lot) and decided to postpone building. Chris was understanding. Subsequently we found an existing house that was just like what we were trying to build, but for less money. Chris congratulated us and gave us the number of a contractor for us to add characteristic Bella Home features to this house (outside fireplace). Bella Homes designs and builds a high quality house that is also slick with many cool features. Your house will be unique.”
