“Howard Homes built our home in the summer/fall of 2011. From the first time we met with Dylan and his team, we knew they were the right choice. We wanted someone who would focus on quality and detail and that is exactly what they delivered. Other builders claimed to be "custom" but added that the only limitation was our pocketbook. With Howard Homes, Dylan made it clear from the beginning that "custom" just means you know what you want - and it shouldn't cost more. We sat down and talked about what we really wanted the features of our new home to be - and then they put together some custom options that we tweaked along the way. This was a much better process than picking from a handful of existing floorplans and having to pay for modifications. Once the build started, we were at the site almost every day and the general contractor, Mark, and each and every subcontractor were extremely friendly and informative. As they worked, you could see their attention to detail come through - on occasion I would even see one of them start something over because it wasn't quite right. You could tell they were each craftsmen and took pride in their work. From the custom gable brackets, to the cherry porch ceiling, to the hand-tooled floors they did a fantastic job on some of the key custom elements we wanted. And you've never seen a cleaner worksite on a new build. Amy was great at helping get all our selections made and keeping our change orders in line, and everyone was great at communcating with us at every step. We absolutely love our new home. “I contacted Jamie and Morgan at construction2style to build an ottoman tray for me. They asked for some details (dimensions/color/etc) and had my ottoman tray ready for me within 5 days!!! When I wasn't sure what some of the options were they took the time to explain (sealer vs. poly). It was a terrific experience. I've had the ottoman tray for about 5 months and it still looks great. I've received numerous compliments on the ottoman tray and refer all of them to construction2style!”
