“Brett was very professional and prompt. We needed to have some things done to our house before we listed it for sale. He came out gave us a quote and started the work within days. He worked 8 hour days and was on time everyday. Our kids were sad to see Mr. Brett go because he was very personable. Would highly recommend him.”

“I hired Whalen construction to remove and replace my old slate roof. I was very impressed with Shawn and his team. They showed up on time and did everything they said they were going to do. They finished in one day with no mistakes and replaced the gutter. I would recommend them to anybody!”

“Great team to work with from the top on down. The entire process was a success and I appreciated the professionalism of the work done. They were on time and kept the job both on target for completion and within budget. I would recommend and work with Jeff Costa and his entire team again. A great family owned business that takes pride in putting the Costa name on its work.”
Inselmini Construction Co. Inc.

“Couldn't be happier with our choice to have Inselmini Construction as our contractor. The building process can be so overwhelming, but having a contractor that you can feel so confident in has made it fun. They are open to our ideas and have great ideas for us when we need them. We have been in other houses built by Inselmini, and knew we wanted that same level of quality in our own home. Our home will soon be done and we can't wait to move in!”

Aspen Valley Contrac
Builders in Latrobe, PA
Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars7 July 2017
“Aspen Valley performed a significant kitchen renovation, extension and removal of a load bearing wall from January to August 2016 on my 95 year old home. Their work was clearly bid out and contracted, the crew was professional and respectful (I have a home office which could have posed a challenge, but didn't, and 2 young children) and they worked quite well with the architect and my family. Every project has surprises - things you don't expect and can't know about until you open the walls of a house this old - and these guys reacted promptly, thoroughly and accurately. Communication was crisp - we were always aware of what was happening or would happen. We finished on time, on budget, and as I changed the plan 2x mid-stream the change order process was crisp and fair. The kitchen is arguably the most important part of a home today. We are quite pleased with our outcome and I'm glad Aspen Valley ran the show. I will give them first shot on future projects.”
Price & Vaughn Company
Builders in Latrobe, PA
Average rating: 5 out of 5 stars18 November 2014
“Price and Vaughn repaired rotted floorboards on my back porch. With painstaking, meticulous craftsmanship, they rebuilt two supporting pillars of the porch roof to match existing pillars that had not rotted. All the wood installed was primed and painted to match. They also willingly undertook additional work that involved cleaning, scraping and painting first and second-floor level box gutters. They also repaired a leaking downspout. They helped us install some heavy wrought iron wall hangings indoors when asked. They were unfailingly polite and good-natured; they were hardworking, imaginative in their approach to repairs, and meticulous in their work. We enjoyed having them around.”

“More than impressed with the craftsmanship, integrity and vision of Julie, Fred and his sons, Fred Junior and John. Our family hated to see them leave. Our house was only four years old but had broken tiles in the kitchen. The previous owner had also taken the kitchen island with them (I didn't realize it wasn't fixed to the floor). Fred and Julie worked at our pace to visualize what we wanted. The open-spaced kitchen/family room was almost L-shaped, including a breakfast nook. Like forensic scientists we outlined an L-shaped island to flow with the room design. We collectively selected the flooring to bring out the red in the nice existing cabinets. We told Fred the type of space we needed in the island and what we needed to store. Finally, we discussed our desire to mount the TV flush over top of the fireplace in an applewood stone wall. John and Fred, Jr carefully installed the wood flooring and then protected it from any possible damage from the remaining work to be done. Next, they laid out all the different stones for the fireplace. Like completing a jig saw puzzle they placed the stones. When it didn't look just right they replaced it with the perfect pieces. Fred cut out a hole for the TV and mounted it flush to the stone wall above the most beautiful wood mantle with carved corbels. We didn't want to see cords and dvd/cable boxes, so Fred created a hidden door below the TV to house all the ugly accessories. The island was the last and probably the most impressive. One cabinet housed a pop-up shelf for the mixer. The shelf pulls up to the height of the island. The frame includes a dark finish and subtle red pinstriped trim to perfectly blend with the flooring, granite top and cabinets. The ends of the island include beautifully carved wood columns. Haven't told you about the island lighting and the beautiful backsplash..but you get the picture. So glad we found All Pro at the Home and Garden Show in Pittsburgh!”
