“Glengarry Construction & Design did major renovation in our house. We had the basement finished with a new bathroom and living room as the first project. The second project was a total make over of the main bathroom. We could not have asked for better contactors and workers. They designed both projects taking in consideration our wishes, ideas and budget. The work was excellent and it was done rapidly and efficiently. They were very well organized. At the end of the day, they would leave the place clean. Through the renovation, they keep us informed of the progress and the next step to be. They were very professional, respectful and polite while working. Their workmanship skills were remarkable. We are totally satisfied with the work done in our house. “I had been waiting on my husband to complete the update on my laundry room(3 years). My patience ran out waiting. I spoke with Langa about what I wanted done. He gave me a time line and he did the job within the time. He is a complete professional. The quality of work was excellent. He came up with a few ideas to add to my project and they were amazing. “Other than being an incredibly pleasant person, Tim is a great thinker. He has saved us from doing things wrong several times. He listens and evaluates carefully. Brilliant ideas are worked up collaboratively so the husband ego is intact. Since I usually make "the call" to Tim, this is of great importance. He is up on all the cutting edge ideas and materials. Unlike some architects who lean too far into design and not practicality, Tim has balanced form and function. In our severe weather zone, frost heave, roof ice build up and other concerns must be addressed in design. Tim is available for both small and large projects and has had wide range of experience in many types of construction. Also if you are thinking of doing stone slipform construction--he's your guy. He built his own home this way, nothing like learning from doing! I think you are always best off with an architect who has actual hands-on building experience.”
