“In 2006 I started my search for a North Georgia cabin. I looked at resales and new construction all over Gilmer and Fannin Counties. Being in real estate myself since the late 80’s, I’ve been selling resale and new construction homes for years! After looking for cabins a few months I happened upon one Shawn was building in a community in Ellijay. As I walked through the cabin I was immediately impressed with the quality of workmanship, as well as, the finishes the builder was using. It felt as if it were a home he was building for himself! I could already see myself living there! With only weeks left in the construction process I hoped Shawn would work with me to personalize the cabin with last minute finishes I wanted to select. Indeed, not only did he allow me to pick out my lighting, granite and paint colors, but he helped me with enhancing the exterior by adding stonework to my stairs and support columns. When the cabin was ready to close Shawn did a thorough walk through with me and took care of any items of concern. We closed on time and my experience with Shawn and his team was one of the best I’d experienced in all my years! Even after 10 years of living in my cabin, Shawn continues to keep in touch with me and help me take care of anything that comes up in regard to maintenance and repair. His team has stained my cabin, replaced deck boards and have been awesome about service after the sale! I can’t wait for the opportunity to work with Shawn again one day to build me another home!”
