“Tom Elliott's crew did a fantastic job on finishing our log home! They showed up as scheduled and went right to work. Each member of the crew went right to work on their specific job. Blasting, sanding and finish work were all completed in a little over 2 weeks. Oil base finish was applied in 2 separate coats with a day or so in between each coat. Generously applied and brushed in, it transformed our house into a work of art. Glossy shine and beautiful look! I only wish I had heard of Tom and his company earlier. It would have saved a lot of hassle with an inferior finisher and product. Now our home is shining beautiful and will be so for years to come. Many thanks to Tom and the boyz that were here doing the job. A very professional and hard working, knowledgeable crew. They explained every step of their work and helped me understand the process of refinishing logs. I highly recommend Tom's company. His rates are very reasonable and the quality of work incredible.”

“Mr. August DeLarue was the construction supervisor when my house was built in Salida in 2010. The house was constructed in one of the nicer neighborhoods in Salida. I was interested in a house that was close to net-zero source energy, which required modifications to the original design. I engineered the changes for lower energy consumption, and for solar energy collection, but meeting the goals required very careful attention to detail, like sealing every penetration of pipes or wiring not only from inside to outside, but also through every stud in the structure. Further, the exterior studs were sealed where the OSB meets the studs. This sealing results in low air leakage as measured by blower door tests. Mr. DeLarue worked with the subcontractors to make sure this work was done carefully and completely. Mr. DeLarue was a pleasure to work with throughout the construction process, and the attention to detail and house energy performance exceeded expectations. “We built our house with Jack in 2008. The house is gorgeous, the design perfect for a mountainside site and quality of construction is outstanding. Jack has a great eye and came up with design ideas, while being open to and implementing our vision. We have received many compliments from people who have been here. Jack was very helpful in all aspects of the building, selection of fixtures and finishes. Perhaps most important, we are from Minnesota and were not here to look over construction often and we trusted Jack implicitly. That trust was well placed. Our expectations were more than met, communication great and budget met with adjustments that we agreed to. Since move in he does not "abandon" the project, but responds to any questions or small repairs that are needed, finding the appropriate licensed professionals to fix a problem. As far as we are concerned Jack is the best and would build with him again in a heartbeat.”
