“Building a custom home can be quite overwhelming...so we were told! Decisions are endless and opinions change through the process. Our experience of building our first custom home was SO much better than what we had anticipated based on the horror stories you often hear of! Genuine Custom Homes was with us each and every step of the way and Karl was amazing to work with!!! His organization skills speak volumes for themselves. We were constantly kept in the loop of what the current status was and what we could expect to come and it was so nice to know that we had someone supervising our project who cared about our home just as much as we did! Karl was always in contact with us and set up appointments for us with his chosen professionals who already knew about our style before we even arrived to meet with them to discuss specifics. We were involved in the entire process and when we were not immediately available we had the confidence that Karl knew our goals and style well enough to make things happen as we would have them. We would absolutely recommend a Genuine Custom Home to our friends and family-- we have now been in our home for six months and from the date of move in we have not been disappointed! “My experience with Mr. Hernandez was nothing less than perfect. We review the job and the cost and Mr. Hernandez and his team went to work. They did everything they said they would do and more. Each day they left the job site clean and orderly and showed up each day early to get going. We had our deck refinished a few shingles on the roof replaced and some rooted boards replaced. We could not have been happier with his work. I recommend him highly...”

“After 34 years of marriage and many moves we were finally ready to put down roots and build our forever home and we are so happy that Troy and Lisa Parker agreed to partner with us on this project! They were an absolute pleasure to work with- responsive, professional and organized. They have a good working relationship with their high quality and reputable subcontractors and there is a commitment to excellence throughout the building process. Both Troy and Lisa were quick to respond to any questions or concerns. The sheer volume of details/decisions that go into building a custom home can be overwhelming to say the least, but Troy and Lisa are always calm and focused- you know you are in good hands. Our house had a number of challenging custom features, e.g., old doors, custom vent hood, reclaimed beams, vintage beadboard wall- Troy and Lisa worked closely with us always going the extra mile to ensure we were happy with the end result. They are a great team with Troy's experience and knowledge of the industry and Lisa's strong organizational skills keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes and managing the budget. We are thrilled with our beautiful home and feel so blessed that we get to live here. “Remodeled about 40% of the house including total expansion and renovation of the kitchen; expanding and renovating the den to also incorporate the previously unair-conditioned, glassed-in patio; added a second floor room and bath; renovated the laundry room; and repainted and refloored (wood flooring) the entire renovated area. Westphall was very responsive to my request for an estimate; providing it in one week. Once they were selected for the project, planning was completed and building permits received in an expeditious manner. Soon thereafter the work began and overall was completed ahead of schedule and within the estimated cost. Westphall oversaw the work, including numerous sub-contractors, on virtually a daily basis. Their quality assurance of work preformed was excellent insuring my total satisfaction with the final products. Westphall was extremely responsive to the inevitable changes requested throughout a large project as mine. Cost estimates for modifications to the original plans were received in a timely manner so that savings were realized because unnecessary work prompted by the modifications was avoided, yet the work was never delayed. I would hire Westphall in the future and recommend him to others”

“I am a lifetime customer of Shaw Company because they did an excellent job for me. When my hot water heater broke and completely destroyed my master bath and bedroom, we decided it was time to go ahead and upgrade the original design. I made a call to Shaw Co. and they were there that afternoon with everything needed to begin the drying out process of our disaster. They were very detailed in the removal of anything that may cause future health or structural concerns for my family. Once everything was dry and cleaned up they began to start our remodel. The recommendations that they made were very innovative and once we decided on the direction to go, they were on it. The crew was very conscientious and courteous. More importantly, they finished the project on time and budget. We are extremely pleased with the end result! It's nice to deal with a company that does what they say they are going to do. ”

“I purchased a Home from Curry Creek Homes in September of 2016. I was getting ready to purchase a different home in the neighborhood and as I was driving around Gillbert ‘s home caught me eye. The design from the outside was very appealing, but as soon as I went inside, I was sold. His detail to craftsmanship and layout was great. From the 9’ ceilings and over sized molding, I was sold. This is my forth home I have bought and my second new one. By far the after the sale service you will never beat. Gillbert always answers the phone if there is any question or needs. His subcontractors are there when he says, you can tell he has a good relationship with them. Over and above I highly recommend Curry Creek Homes to be your builder, I promise you will not be disappointed!! Kenny”

“We asked several companies to bid on our replacement of cedar posts on our patio and gazebo. Paul came to our house to see what the project would entail. He also brought the team leaders to get their input and then provided a quote with an itemized budget. His quote was fair, and he addressed our concerns. Throughout the job he kept us informed of the progress and any potential problems. He was straight forward and honest. It was a pleasure to deal with him. The work was more than satisfactory and was completed on time. We plan to consider his company (Homeco) for future projects. We highly recommend him.”

“What started with moving furniture and noticing a soft spot in the carpet along the edge of an outside wall and a water spot suddenly appearing in the ceiling above it with San Antonio’s heavy rains of Sept 2018 started our journey with DMJ Restorations. Sam Hoffman was extremely knowledgeable in guiding us through the insurance process and, because of his efforts, we actually received more money than we might have received otherwise. We learned a lot along the course. We have been so pleased with their entire team for a multitude of tasks they did for us – roofing, demolition, construction, sheetrock, painting and carpet installation. They were here when they said they would be, did what they said they were going to do (and then some), and cleaned up extremely well after themselves. All while respecting our home and its contents. They paid attention to all of the little details, some we wouldn’t have thought of on our own, and made sure we were satisfied from start to finish. Would we recommend them to others? YOU BET and without hesitation!”
