“We hired Monica to build our home in Durango while we lived full time out of state. The entire project from start to finish went smoothly, communication was clear and consistent, we received daily updates and photos of progress, design suggestions and modifications made along the way enabled us to make the best possible use of the space. Her crew is professional, dedicated, clean, produces excellent quality and detail oriented. Monica is extremely budget conscious, regularly making suggestions to reduce costs and allowed me to make agreed upon purchases when I found something unique to add to our home. Our tastes aligned so it was easy to trust her recommendations for finishes as well. She went above and beyond to make this experience something far above expectations. We trusted her every step of the way and even gave her signed books of our checks to use along the way. I cannot make a higher recommendation and we could not have been more pleased with the outcome.”

“I used Monty Whitman and his company to do a MAJOR 2-part renovation of my home in 2010 and 2011. My downstairs was entirely gutted, and he designed a new kitchen, powder room, added a master suite, and an art studio, as well as a patio, walkways, driveway and new cabinets in the upstairs bathrooms. It was done quickly, efficiently, honestly, and friendly. I would truly recommend him to anyone who was considering a renovation.”

“Peter Eastwood and his key technicians replaced our wood deck and top rail with compression molded composite Envision decking. Several rafters needed to be replaced because of a poor installation done by the original installer (Walter Barszcz of CBS Construction). If you are looking for quality craftsmen who are prompt and reliable then Silver Mountain Construction is the team you are seeking. Jim Glass, retired professional engineer.”

“Kevin Skelly built my house 8 years ago. It was such a terrific experience that we have remained friendly ever since. It is a modern house with clean lines that demanded care and perfect angles. He and his crew were as demanding that it be right as we were. The house sits on a very difficult site in the mountains without a lot of room to maneuver, yet it went well and with the exception of some weather delays had a timely completion. We had an expert come in at the framing stage to make sure everything was OK and Kevin was highly complimented for his work and he made the small adjustments recommended happily. Kevin and the architect worked as a team, which saved a lot of money and stress and time. Any changes needed were much simpler and instead of reams of working drawings, they were so used to working together that it went without any problems at all.”

“SunPeak designed and built our home in Indian Camp Ranch in Cortez,CO. Adam was great to work with. We had never built a home and this was a retirement home. We were very nervous as we were in Dallas and could not be there to watch the construction. Adam sent pictures during the entire construction process and always available to answer our questions. The project came in on time and on budget. Would highly recommend this builder.”
