“It was an awesome experience working with Dan and Tomfoolery Wood - This desk is so great, it is really well made and the wood looks amazing. Dan was awesome during the whole process. He even sent me photos of the desk while he was building it. It really gave it a personal touch to see the construction process. I was impressed. This is my second piece that I have purchased from Dan, and I plan on buying more items. He also built me a credenza for my TV, which is also in pictures. Dan takes a lot of pride in what he does - he will make you a great piece of furniture.”

“The entire Greenbaum Family is dedicated to the Pacific Northwest Region as being one of the best in providing quality furnishings, great service and helpful design since 1959. We have purchased from them several times in the past 15 years and everyone, from the design to delivery, are all wonderful to work with. The Greenbaums, being local and a small business, are also very involved with serving our community and giving back. It's really one of the best family and locally owned businesses in the area.”

“I found Urban Made through custommade.com while trying to find a shop that would make a custom trestle base table in a quick turn around time. Working with Jordan on this project was seamless. His attention to detail paired with quality work done in a timely manner was unparalleled. It was a last minute project that we needed done fast without compromising quality and Jordan nailed it. He was even able to match a paint swatch we had and finish the table with a custom paint job. I would highly recommend working with Urban Made, as we will definitely be using him in the future.”

“I had a Italian set off dinning chairs that needed repair and upholstering 8 chairs in fact, I had been looking for a good shop to do the work. I could not have found a better shop. Their attention to detail and customer courtesy was impeccable . They were all business and could see I was nervous but they calmed me right down, Alice went thru several patterns before we found one we liked and when Don looked at the chairs he gave recommendations on what needed to be fixed. And when I got the chairs back ,what a wonderful job they did. I would recommend their work to others.”

“I’d bought a 10 foot piece of cedar hoping to turn it into a floating shelf/mantle over our fireplace. I contacted many, many people hoping to figure out how I could do this. From cabinet makers to carpenters, even handymen, nobody was able to help me with this project. Finally with Google’s help, I found Bolt Woodworks. I spoke to Jared over the phone and my brother and I dropped off the cedar a day or two later. Just as he promised and less than 3 weeks later, he brought over this beautifully polished mantle, with pre-drilled holes, and installed it in a few minutes. It was AMAZING! Jared was extremely courteous and a true professional. In my search, I can honestly say there was no one else like him! Thanks to Jared, I love our mantle!!!”

“DesignbySML has completed two separate projects for me and my partner, and each time I've been pleased. They will definitely be my first choice for bringing our future project ideas to reality. Project one was the restoration of two vintage, mid-century modern Danish lounge chairs. One had broken seat springs, and the other had almost completely fallen apart. DesignbySML researched the original design and materials, then executed a solid repair that makes the chairs comfortable, usable and strong, while keeping their original character. For project two, I was looking for a custom butcher block top for a kitchen island. DesignbySML listened to my ideas to get an understanding of what I wanted, suggested and sourced materials to build it, then came to my home and completed the installation, bringing all necessary tools and even the oil to protect the surface over time. The finished project is perfect - exactly as I'd pictured it.”

They understand balance and subtly and enhance beauty within the materials. “Michael is a class professional. Timely, accurate, clean and competitive. Does what he says, when he says. Check out the photos of my new tongue and groove ceiling and accent entry wall. Magnificent. No second guessing required. I've found my lifelong carpenter and I'm more than happy to write and leave plenty of reviews as I'd love to see his business expand.”
