“Lowes had just delivered and installed a brand new dryer at my home and it didn't work. My old dryer worked earlier that day. Lowes installation crew told me I needed an electrician or return the dryer and be left without one. I tried shutting the power off to my home, turned it back on and tried to reset the breaker to the dryer. It wouldn't reset. I must've called 20 different electricians and NO ONE could come out for at least a week. One electrician in Woodinville was willing to come out for $295/hr + tax to "look into" my issue AND still wasn't willing or able to come out to Gold Bar. I called Dickson Electric and Kurt advised me that the Lowes delivery and installation techs did something wrong. He walked me through the process, over the phone on how to reset my circuit breaker and get my new dryer going...and didn't charge me a thing! WOW!!!!! It's so amazing that there are genuinely honest people doing business! Dickson Electric is honest and forthright and I recommend them to all I know.”

We recently completed a major kitchen remodel this past Spring and Matt Ryder @ SeaTown Electric was a complete gem in handling all the electrical prep work in advance for this remodel. He also facilitated with his great team (e.g. Niki and Makayla) all the respective City of Seattle permit formalities and inspection scheduling. I liked the fact that Matt provided me options without any tacky pressure or scare like tactics. Naturally, it was more economical to bundle several project tasks rather than to piecemeal them. Matt's technical expertise, high level of professionalism, respect for a homeowner's property and tidiness, along with his gentleman qualities made all the world of the difference with me. I nearly always get several quotes for any project and this is where I could clearly see the "Matt factor". We had another company that we set an appointment with a week ago this past Monday. On Monday they never showed up and I called them and they said they had to cancel due to Covid. We gave them our phone # and email address but we were never contacted. So I called several other electricians in the area and could not get anyone, voicemail, no answer or were booked up. I called Benchmark on Monday but got voice mail also. A few minutes later Ed, from Benchmark, called me back. I gave him our problem and he called us Tuesday and came out to look at the project (small job). He was very pleasant and personable. It was a pleasure to be able to have a genuine smile, great attitude and professional demeanor rolled into one. (Not very many of these lately). He gave us an estimate and said he would be out that afternoon or out today. He called late yesterday and said his men would be out this morning at 09:00AM. They were a few minutes early and had the job done in an hour. The men were also very personable, informative and knowledgeable. Very professional crew.
